Nothing At All

If you haven’t something nice to say

Say nothing at all

Destroy someone’s conviction, they’re guaranteed to stall

People need incitement else fail to make it through 

Same applies to everyone including me and you

Say something that is positive or keep it to yourself

Take that criticism, put it on the shelf

We must receive encouragement so we can thrive and grow

Simple words of wisdom, meant for all to know

Give someone a compliment it goes a long long way

Don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today

Let them know they're beautiful

Speak this from the heart

Mention intellectually you find them rather smart

 

Acknowledge all their efforts

Pat them on the back

Talk about their strong points not the things they lack

Don’t destroy their credence, they’re guaranteed to stall
