A ball of golden fire consumes
A son to an ageing mother
A husband to a doting wife
A loving and dedicated father
To a sprightly sweet daughter.
Their world will still have his traces
They will still bear his name
But for me, the world will never be the same
A sister left her home and hearth
Of childhood memories and mirth
I'm orphaned of a brother's love
How to share that grief
Unfathomable void
Dark and deep
A tribute to my soldier brother
All your rakhees I will keep
