Rockstar

A train of hazy scattered and impatient visions,

A long lost sound of horseshoes fading away.

Running in my mind the imagery of my epitaph, 

The nasty accident that haunts my slumber. 

Adrenalin rushes through my veins 

Thoughts of lights, sounds, and a madding crowd.

My body gets tempted by the unsatisfied lust,

Moment later pulse rate decreases.

A strong scent of marijuana still burning my throat.

No more can I listen to my own heartbeats,

"Feels like knocking on heavens door".

               

 Who am I??

 I am a Rockstar.

A dizzy feeling of self-presence, 

A blast of creative nuisance

no control over mind and soul,

puffs of smokes and darkness around.

A copybook rockstar, from birth till death

Riding against the storm with a cowboy hat,

Cigarette between lips, addiction as a soulmate.

Who am I??
