Memory Lane
Memory Lane
My childhood days so pure and sweet
Every step of the way was a paradise of its own
Many the adventures of life's highway
Offered to me lessons am grateful of today
Riches of nature nurtured me each passing day
Yesterday's dreams may never be mine
But for my childhood upbringing to my parents, I owe
Love did bloom in the home
Always mum up and about for Sunday service she said was a must
Never will I forget my childhood home
For life began for me in this small town I to date call home
Every time life gets rough and tough
I turn to my childhood upbringing for guidance to walk another mile
