The Color 'YOU'
The Color 'YOU'
My world's the size of crayon box,
And it takes every color to draw you
And if I could
I promise I would
Grab every crayon
To draw a world of you;
Red blue black green
But none feels like you;
My world in a box
A color of every hue;
Red blue black green
But none feels like you.
I'll grab all crayons and
On the back on my palm
I'll draw a name
A little bit of you,
And close my fists
I'll save for rain
The sundry sunshine of you;
And maybe someday
I will wake up,
To an empty home;
And I'll draw someone new,
I'll pick a color in my crayon box,
Red blue black green
But none will feel like you;
But on the back of my palm
There will be a name,
There will always be a little you.
