Tongue-tied

I’m burying you deep 

Where even my heart can’t reach

Your fingerprints so delicately disappear

With a mark for every part you touched 

Trading halos for horns

These memories, my crown of thorns

Pushed deep in my skull

They bring shame and misery

Left to hope my suffering

Brings some form of amnesty 

A noose tied by your lips 

Leaves me tongue-tied 

Losing all sense and purity
