Bored After Boards

Before I put my heart out, I want to introduce myself. I'm Nandini Chauhan, an aspiring writer and I've just given my tenth boards his year.

After studying day and night for a whole year and cutting myself off from any kind of entertainment and distraction for a long time, I planned to have fun after my board exams were over. But just before my last examination which was Computer Applications, the lockdown was announced because of the uncontrolled outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus. This lockdown is really mandatory for a healthy environment and was extended by our P.M, Mr. Narendra Modi till 3rd May since the situation is not in control.

All the people are expected to live in their houses to prevent the outbreak any further and hence all my plans are now dumped in the corner of my soul. We've been living in our houses for about a month and sometimes its really hard to pass time. I've been spending most of my time writing, painting, eating, sleeping and binge-watching Netflix with my family. My regular routine is totally spoiled since I mostly sleep at 3 AM and wake up 12 PM which is not at all good for a student but since I've decided to be honest, I'm gonna tell everything truthfully.

Sometimes it really gets frustrating to sit and do nothing productive for the whole day. Life has become really slow all around the globe and many countries and companies are facing a loss in their economy level and a huge amount of people have died worldwide so I guess my problem is not that big in front of them and therefore, individuals like me should try to be content and happy because mental-wellness is as important as physical-wellness. Practicing social distancing, staying at our homes and staying hygienic are the only ways through which we can make this work. We might face difficulty in passing time and coping up with boredom but we need to act seriously against this virus and then the whole world see a beautiful morning with a mesmerizing sunshine free of Coronavirus.
