“And this is the campaign our school must hold,” said Mia. Everyone clapped for Mia when she spoke in her class about the topic- Campaign on Saving Elephants. “So after listening to Mia’s speech, we understand that the best campaign children can start is saving elephant tusks”. After saying so, he quietly walked away. Mia did not like that attitude. She scowled. Mia loves playing with animals and loves her dog, Bito. She was fascinated by animals. While going to her grandmother’s home, which was near a small forest, she heard a cry. When she rushed to the spot, she found a baby elephant lying on the grass. Its tusks were removed and it was bloodshed. She looked around for help, and she found a man with a gun, a huge bag shaped like tusks and so it was. The man turned back for a moment and Mia knew who it was. A person in her neighbourhood. She overlooked that fact for some time and instantly took her phone and called a van and a veterinary doctor whom she knew. The doctor gave it first aid and took it in the van to the clinic. After it was treated, she was called and asked to take care. She named it Jino and gave it to her father, who was a forest officer. She thought of telling about the hunter also and after a minute or so, she confessed the complete matter. The hunter was soon caught. Mia smiled as she gave the rights of elephants back.
