Thank You!

Things that I never confessed to you while we were together- 

i) Thank you for loving me silently. For taking out time to remember even the smallest things like how I don't like mushrooms on my pizza and that I love cheek kisses over anything in this world. 

ii) Thank you for lifting me up when I was at my most vulnerable. For becoming my home when all I asked for was just a support pillar. For knowing me well enough to notice what my silence says. 

iii) Thank you for fighting for me every day. For constantly telling me that we're stronger when we're together. Thank you for being there, on every one of those nights when melancholy used to overpower my clean conscience; even if it meant ruining your sleep schedule only to ensure that I sort mine.

iv) Thank you for holding on to me, even when I gave up on myself. For constantly telling me that self-love out-weights any kind of love there exists.  

v) Thank you for making me a better person. For loving parts of myself, which I used to fend off. 

vi) Thank you for making sure that I took my 3 pm medicine every day even if you were in the middle of a meeting.  For checking if I made up with my friend with whom I fought the other night. 

vii) Thank you for caring for me, and for always being proud of me. Thank you for being a best friend first and then a beau. 

viii) Thank you for stopping by and loving me, even if you left.
