The Nightmare

I saw a terrifying nightmare. It was so scary that I peed on my fluffy bed. I was on an abandoned path with all of my friends and my dog Fudge, we followed the deep path. It was murky and obscure. Familiar unsymmetrical and filthy cobwebs were settled on the whole path. It seemed as if there was no end. It was as quiet as a mouse. We all were petrified, I asked everybody to stay close and hold hands. It felt as if we were in a huge maze, reaching the same path again and again. There was nobody to help us. We were bewildered. There was no way to get back home so we carried on.

In no time, we finally reached a place where there was a huge castle. I and Fudge could smell something goofy ,so we continued with our journey. We reached a place from where we were able to hear loud and strange noises. We walked using the noise and reached in the hall where there was a dining table, a television and a sofa. There were weird paintings on the wall. There were no windows which was awkward.

We finally reached a room where we could hear louder noises than before. We peeked in and saw a gigantic wizard. We even saw a fierce cat and a flightless bird as if it were a pet. The wizard had a loud voice and looked really ferocious. The cat had sharp claws that it could rip our chest apart. The flightless bird was aggressive. We noticed that the cat and the bird could talk , we were surprised.

Then we saw the wizard stewing different potions adding dead skins of snake and many other animals. All the ingredients looked really exasperating and vexatious. The wizard and the pets were gone for some time so we went in. Something was bubbling up in a cauldron but it wasn't hot. I touched the potion, it was very viscous. Then I smelled it but there was no scent. At last I tasted it, it was very amplified and in no time I fell unconscious. My friends picked me up and my dog sniffed the way to go back. In sometime I was awake. As we hurried on the path the wizard saw us and began to chase us , so all of us scampered.

Suddenly my mother shouted furiously at me and asked me to wake up, I was so relieved that I was on my cozy bed and it was just a nightmare. I told the scary story to my family, friends, Fudge and my diary.
