When I Was Knocked Down

When I was knocked down,

I tried my best to get up on my legs

But I couldn't.

I tried, I struggled,

I pulled myself up on the roof of 'Strength'

By breaking the mirror of 'Hopelessness',

By climbing the stairs of 'Failure',

By breaking the door of 'Fear',

And I finally bathed myself with the rain of 'Success'.

I reached, I won.

I sat on the throne of 'Happiness'.

FREE, FREE, I am FREE, I shouted.

'Being a girl cannot stop me from reaching the heights', I declared

And I always remember that :

When I was knocked down,

I tried best to get up on my legs 

And I did, I succeed
