Hands

People say it can't be done, but I will prove them wrong. Too many differences among us, they say but together we have stood strong. I held out my hand to you and you then held yours out too. We soon found that our differences were the same for me and you. Soon another came along and also joined our hands. The more we reached the more hands came and we bonded from many lands. Every time you hold your hand out you give someone a choice to take a chance on friendship and become a part of one voice. It's not as hard as you would think to shift the world's opinions, and we all could come together and close all of our divisions. And to think it only started by holding out a hand, to start a chain reaction that covered many lands.
