The Prayer

The Princess could see what was coming. She smelled the scent of death and the evilness in the air. She knew the time was near to face this battle and take a stand, and for once, she knew fear. And she knew she would have to battle it alone.But her Armor that her Father had fashioned for her would protect her. The belt of Truth, the breastplate of Righteousness, shoes of the preparation of Peace, shield of Faith, helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Great Spirit. All she had to do was believe in their powers that were blessed upon them by her Father and not look to her left or right, but straight ahead.The Lion would not be with her physically this time, because it was a battle for humanity. A battle between good and evil. A battle for peace, and a battle of the heart and soul. A spiritual battle. It was time to stand firm because the end was coming...She knelt down while evil was all around her. And then, She prayed."Oh Mighty Father above in Heavenly Places, Show me how to fight this battle. Open your Hallowed Book and point me towards the right road. Let me read your perfect words to complete this battle. I am afraid for once in my life, but I will go through this battle to save the generations to come and to save all I love and all they will love for years to come."It would be the battle that would drag her down to the Gates of Hell, where she would fight all the evil that lurked beyond it. Her heart was heavy and she wept. But she knew it was her calling, her journey and her Truth. ©
