Hope

Hope was what I lost

When shattered and down trodden I was.

As I closed my eyes and dim grew the light,

The expectations shone within

Of those, in me, who believed.

Every vein was filled again

With the love, of you, that my heart pumped.

And here I am.

Set out of my nest for the day, once again, 

To gather the building sticks for my nest

And collecting for family, the creepiest again.

HOPE is what I won again 

When shattered and down trodden I was.
