There,

I see my beloved

Riding his wheeler

Going straight

And then taking a turn,

Into a world of concrete

That is beyond my view

While waiting for him to return safely

After sweating and earning for us all

When the lighted eve dawns.

After sweating and sowing seeds for us all

When the lighted eve dawns.

There,

I see.....

My beloved taking the turn

And the world beyond that turn,

So, mingled with each other,

That neither can survive without the other

No matter who this 'beloved' of me is....father, husband or son

And no matter whether this 'world' is rural or urban.

There,

Myself, standing at the doorstep

Of our very own little world, our house, 

I just see.....

My beloved taking the turn
