The sun’s a strange ball

Morning brings the joy

Stare at it too long and you wilt

The wait for the night starts

Longing for the shimmering lights

Soothes and plays with the mind

Making the breeze more romantic

You see the dried tears of lost childhood

The one you want falls in love with you

The world pirouettes with ecstasy

The hearts tug at each other playfully

Pull it a little hard and it starts to pain

And you realize you’re in chains

The baby’s laughter fills your soul

The world falls prey to its every whim

Watch it till he grows into an old man

And cry out at every passerby to help him walk

The world has become deaf to him

Let me kiss the scorching sun

Learn to dance with my werewolves

Drown my happiness in the rain

Make chains of the softest wool
