India is a great nation that stands for ‘unity in diversity’

Which means oneness in spite of

 Presence of immense diversity 

If my love for India

 Is a prejudice 

My nation is my pride 

I take pride in 

India’s diversity’s

Be it geographic, religious, or cultural

Linguistic, regional, or racial 

Be it individual or social differences in 

Physical attributes; skin color

 Caste or creed 

For all its differences are viewed as varieties 

That enriches the society and nation as a whole 

And we find oneness in its

Scientific excellence, spiritualism 

Humanitarian values and patriotism 

‘I’ for India as a great 

A nation with its varied diversities

Progressing still marching ahead 

And taking world wide a lead

 For a strong and sacred thread of unity 

Has been running through India’s life 

Which is woven with

 Love, peace, and kindness 

Not with hatred vengeance or strife 

At times its cultural unity 

Underwent serious ups and downs

Still, it is progressing 

Being ornamented with

Diversity as its crown 

‘I’ in ‘I’ for India 

Is an initiative 

Taken by India’s leading actors, 

Musicians, playback singers 

Sportspersons and industrialists

And international artists

To raise funds to support

 COVID-19 relief every Indian 

That is my belief 

Let’s take a pledge 

To safeguard our country 

From extremists and terrorists 

And protect our national culture and heritage 

And take pride in 

Visualizing a strong, united 

And prosperous ‘Atmanirbharsil’
