Is She To Be Blamed

Is She To Be Blamed

When I look up at the sky, it is so silent;

Silent as the way society is,

Towards injustice of a woman;

Silent towards screams of her.

She screams so loud,

That voice of her is just,

Heard and ignored by this world,

For their thoughts permit

Them to do so saying,

"None Of Our Business."

Not just one or two,

Enormous are in number;

The cases that are filed.

Files of such cases keeps on piling up,

But the justice is done to the none.

Those rapists are wandering freely,

And captured are those girls,

By the thought of being threatened by the society,

By the thought of destruction of their lives.

For the society which they suffer,

For the society which they weep,

Doesn't even bother to punish those accused;

But instead blames a girl for sin -

She isn't responsible for.

Heedless-to her-scream;

Ignorant in her pain,

Fake empathy,

Echoes through their mind,

"O it's she to be blamed."
