My Imperfections

I am not perfect, that much is true,

But that's what makes me uniquely new,

A collection of flaws and quirks and such,

A canvas of imperfections that's my touch.

My hair's unkempt, my teeth aren't straight,

I procrastinate and often run late,

I make mistakes and stumble, too,

But I learn and grow, it's what I do.

My imperfections are what make me real,

An imperfect heart that knows how to feel,

I embrace my flaws and wear them proud,

My perfect imperfections scream loud.

For it's in the cracks, the rough and tough,

Where the beauty of life shines bright enough,

The perfectly imperfect, the flaws we see,

Make up the tapestry of you and me.

So let us embrace our imperfections,

For they are our unique connections,

A story of our journey so far,
