Sonia knew that she is going to cry her heart out that night. She was pretty disturbed by the question Dinesh, her husband asked in the mall....

It was a regular afternoon and she was hanging out with her director Mr Anand in the multiplex, not for entertainment purpose but regarding their work. He was narrating a story and the importance of cinematography to her which needed a multiplex feel. Being a novice in the acting field it was Anand who played the role of a genuine mentor. But when her husband Dinesh asked who is he she couldn't utter her a word.

In fact she reiterated the question to herself....

For a year and a half Anand and Sonia both have been working on an upcoming project which was of course a budget movie but it would have given a massive punch to her career as a new comer in the industry. After a lot of jostling in the maddening industry she finally found a director who truly had an inclination for talent. This was the common ground for both to meet because they were bound to meet.

Everything is precalculated and we all play as per the director who is sitting up there. That's the reason why tulips bloom at a certain climactic condition and not throughout the year and apparently that's the reason why sunflowers open up towards the sun when it flaunts it's bright and radiant smile.Nothing can go wrong if the director is the Almighty lord himself.

Technically everything in God's creation is right. Sometimes we may doubt him and we stop believing. Sometimes we shift our faith on some other God. But it Doesn't change the intricacies.Everything changed over time and that's how it is. Every event has it's own usefulness. If we take the path of honesty, temporarily we might get a relief, but we don't have to sleep with a layer of falsehood every night. We do not have to worry whether we glossed our lips with a pretentious smile and cry incessantly inside. Truth is virtue and that's what she learnt from her father.

But Anand lied. He thought that he can take control of the situation by introducing himself as the God father and addressed her as his child and get away easily from her husband .That's what many of the sugar daddies do to hide their unsocial relations. But they both had no such intention . Her heart knows. The gray hair and the soft wrinkles can't be excuses for drawing sympathy. He knows this can't go much further.

Even if it was a stormy and devastating night, sonia refused to resort to lies. At home she recounted the incidents how ugly the relationship was with Dinesh after getting to know that she failed to bear a child to him for a long time.

She concentrated her career as an actor . She got an emotional support in her workplace through Anand sir which she craved for at home from her husband. The softness, mutual respect or some inner pull she didn't know exactly why she was drifting closer and closer everytime their eyes met. It wasn't a lie. Afterall, apart from being work partners they both are made up of flesh and blood. That pull is not a lie. They were in love, deeply deeply in love. They couldn't help thinking about each other in absence and their excitement knew no bounds when they met. Anand was fourteen years elder than Sonia but age played no role. Dinesh belonged to the same age but it didn't work out either.

That menacing night she confessed to Dinesh right after they came back from the multiplex. Dinesh was pretty convinced with what Anand sir told him. He was seemingly normal and checking his agenda out for the next bloody meeting. He never cared to give a damn to his wife's emotion, otherwise he could have caught his wife red handed on the spot when her eyes welled up with tears.

So she had to make it clear and loud...

," I am in love with Anand and he lied".

Retorted Sonia. Dinesh was gaping at her wide eyed

He can't live without me neither can I. We don't need any validation for that. We both know.

 She added up.

After that it was needless to say how harrowing life was until she got a divorce. But she didn't pay heed to it. Sometimes stepping out is better than stepping back. Break ups are crucial to build oneself up. She never ever bothered to rethink . She was instantaneous like a sprightly bird and spontaneous like a child that's why she was happy.

But she was not selfish. She thought about Anand's wife. Both Anand and his wife Nandini loved each other before she even appeared in the frame. But it wasn't same with her and Dinesh. So she silently withdrew herself because someone had to. Situation demanded that. That was the call of the hour.

After getting a devorce she went to an Ashram and became a monk, shaved her head and led a pious life. She felt the pull has vanished. There was no regret. Sonia was a free bird without any strings attached to anyone. After her dad's demise she felt that God was her father. She knew God had a bigger teddy in exchange of a smaller one called Anand which she adored once as the most prised possession.

When God himself loved his child unpretentiously, there was no need of hanging on to any illusive relation or any sugar daddy. Thus she lived happily ever after.
