Prompt 10- The Stories Of Old

The kids sat around in the corner 

Waiting to hear the story of a demon mourner 

For that was something which didn't sound usual at all

Waiting for their sister to start a call 

And so the story begun 

Of a place that existed long before them 

A time when demons ruled the world 

And the gods were forced to cower 

In the very same world lived that one 

Who believed that life was meant to be fun 

But who knew what plans fate has 

To even make the happiest ones sad 

And the other character in the story 

The one who has all the glory 

Has every luxury they dream of 

But not a single soul love 

And that's how the friends met 

For opposites to attract 

And they begin to enjoy the other's company 

Life appeared full and luckily 

He remembered one day when his friend asked 

What would the others do if they were pulled apart 

But the other simply smiled 

Saying the thought was stupid and wild 

How was he supposed to know 

That fate has planned to pull him below 

And then he heard the news of his death 

Leaving him all broken and dread 

And that's how the story ends
