Prompt 6- The Happy Family
Prompt 6- The Happy Family
The sound of our laugh filled the air
As I and my brother played together
The lake was unstable with the stones we threw
Laughing as they bounced back and forth
Our carefree smiles are so bright
Our parents watched us with delight
And for once our problems are gone
Like nothing in life could be wrong
So we played till our bodies gave up
Walking to our parents near the big house
As they hugged us one after other
Our family is perfect and without suffering
Maybe it is wrong to ignore our worst
To live in an illusion which wouldn't really last
But sometimes you need to smile
And forget the harshness hurt by life.
