Prompt 5 - The lady and dove

The memories bring a smile to my face 

Dancing in the rain all alone 

A place we once called home 

Full of memories of love and smiles 

And then I sat near the lake 

Rewinding my mind to places I hate 

And the end of my happiness came across

Leaving me a teary mess 

That is when I saw the dove approach 

And thought to ease my pain 

As I talked my heart out 

feeling a burden lifting from my head 

Oh! how grateful I felt 

Seeing the dove listening to me 

As if she understands my pain 

Listening to me as a human would 

And then I bid her goodbye 

Having a light heart 

And something told me 

I am soon to have better days
