Through The Pages

I wondered through the pages 

Looking for somewhere to escape my pain 

A place where I can hide 

And be found by no one else 

As my heart walked through those books

Looking at myself from beyond people's look

My mind travelling to a whole new world 

Finding solace in those black-and-white words

And then, when I am forced to come back to this cruel reality 

Realized my life here is a torture for eternity 

Never before had I felt a desire to live in my head 

Wishing myself to be a part of the fantasies I read.
