Earth’s a livid neighbor, the mix of blue and a little of some brown spots, looks handsome.
We do a little party, we invite him too, to our common hit place.
He denies any such rumors. He’s scared we’d harm his planet.
Since we are the only known ones around him, we are called NEOs, are we called neos or N.E.O.s? Near-Earth objects, they prefer, I overheard.
They bookmarked some of us, for being potentials for a threat to earth’s humans. We aren’t that big a size but I guess we are just 1.3AUs away, that’s the hidden reason.
Visiting guests, comets, leave a trail, like a tail. First among us, to be identified as a near-earth object. I don't know if that's something to be proud of!
It's a bumpy coaster. I'd take a shot at it. Doomsday, not a conspiracy, until we meet next!
