Barren and leafless autumn was fast approaching with a carpet of leaves.          Birds were preparing for their onward journey.                            It was bleak and the sojourn to the south seemed afar cry.                   The birds had to bridge over. the insurmountable.                       Good for them. and the. creepy crawly creatures became scarce.            Squirrels. hurriedly stored. the nuts strewn. around.                            Spiders in plenty. Spun their web. making the place look eerie.                  Among the thick stood a lone wolf away from the gang of wolves.              Being thickly woofers the place wore a deserted look.                      The. wolf. was hungry.               The creatures hid. in their dens.        The wolf lingered on. but not ascent of food. Being the youngest of the lot and the dearth of food. could keep pace with those ahead He had become. fragile and bruised and had started limping. He could hear the distant cry of his mother. He could only whimper and left in the. lurch.          All alone he had to fend for himself.      The chill weather added to his misery. missing his mother’s fold.             He dragged his feet. until his legs could could carry him.                    It was a pathetic sight.                  Starvation and grief blinded him.         Overwhelmed by agony he collapsed. and didn’t see the day.
