Word Play. Choose any one word from the above banner as the topic for writing.

 “Fill your pen with the ink of your soul and start writing”

StoryMirror launches Word Play, a new and remarkable writing competition to challenge the writer in you. The instructions for this writing competition are pretty simple: write a story or a poem combining one or more words from the banner above. It can be serious or crazy or funny or wild. Don't limit your imagination. Let it explode and write whatever strikes you.

 Rules:

1. The given words should not be the title of the content.
2. The story or poem should have the word or words mentioned in banner, or which express the meaning of the any given word.
3. StoryMirror will be giving new set of words at 12 AM, every 3 days.
4. The words in the banner will be the writing theme.
5. Each Word Play will be active for 3 days.
6. All poetry types and all story types are accepted
7. There are no restrictions on genre
8. The story or poem must be submitted through competition link only.
9. Participants should submit their original poems / stories.
10. There is no limit on the number of stories or poems to be submitted.
11. Story or Poem already submitted on https://storymirror.comshould not be submitted again.
12. Decision of StoryMirror will be final and binding on all the participants
13. Articles / Essays are not allowed for submission

Prizes:

1. Top 3 best writers in every language will receive a cash reward of 500/- each. Only the writers participating in 5 or more Word Plays will be eligible for this cash reward. Winners will be decided basis cumulative editor scores, total views and total likes across all the submissions.
2. The best story or poem in every Word Play will get a StoryMirror shop voucher worth Rs. 250/-. You can redeem this voucher on https://shop.storymirror.com.
3. Best stories / poems will be featured by StoryMirror on its social media.
4. Top 10 in each language & category will receive certificates of excellence from StoryMirror.
5. StoryMirror will compile an E-Book of the best stories and poems received in all Word Plays received in June.
6. Winners will be selected basis editor scores, number of views and number of likes on content.
